The Music Center at Strathmore opened in 2005. This magnificent structure houses 1,978-seat concert hall which welcomes world renowned performers. The connecting state-of-the-art education center features music and dance classes, workshops, and seminars for all ages.
The Bethesda Theatre opened its doors in 2007. Newly restored to its original glory, the Art Deco Bethesda Theatre offers popular Off Broadway productions and cabaret-style shows in the intimate environment of a 650-seat theatre. Managed by Nederlander Worldwide, the Bethesda Theatre brings a full schedule of top-flight entertainment to the heart of Bethesda.
Heritage Tourism: History where you least expect it! While driving the county's rural roads past landscapes that look much as they did in early America, see rolling farmland steeped in history. The Potomac, a national river, flows through the county with white water, a ferry crossing, and history as a major crossroads of the Civil War. Eighteenth century homes, original commuter towns from the late 1800's, horse farms, weathered barns, notable architecture, and more are waiting to be discovered by you.

Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, a 92-acre farm nestled in the rolling hills of Comus, Maryland, is the only winery in Montgomery County, Maryland. The winery welcomes visitors for wine tastings, tours of the vineyard, and various events throughout the year.
Brookside Gardens is an award-winning 50-acre public display garden including the azalea garden, rose garden, children's garden, formal garden, fragrance garden, Japanese style garden and trial garden.
